Poetry: Missing You

Missing you

Missing you
And those little things
You do.
That smile, and laugh…
Those wise cracks.

Ice blue eyes,
That shaggy hair.
The way I can feel it
When you stare…

The warmth of your arms,
When you cradle me in them.
The feeling of your lips,
Like mine belong with them.

The distance between us
Did nothing
But make me (crazy)
Miss you even more.

I hope this time of
Space between us
Will soon draw
To a close.
